Something hasn't come up that quick since my last trip to an all-you-can-eat buffet. Oklahoma City just announced what their team name was going to be and we're already in training camp? Crazy. The big news, besides Josh Howard's disrespect of the Star Spangled Banner two months ago is that Gilbert Arenas will be missing in action yet again, this time until at least December as he had his third surgery on the same knee. This is really sad because when healthy, Gilbert is an elite, top-5 player in the NBA. Now he's been reduced to just another Grant Hill.
Back to the Josh Howard story. If you want to check it out, here is the link. If not, I understand. Is the mainstream media having this much trouble finding stories? It occurred at a charity flag football game in July. When asked about it, Mark Cuban said the team dealt with it at the time of the incident. At the time of the incident! Where were you ESPN? Nice job dropping the ball on that one.
