As the NFL trade deadline came and went today at 4 PM, news came out of Dallas that they might actually have made a move. Reports are that they are trying to acquire Detroit WR Roy Williams for what appears to be some draft picks. If this ends up being true, I am absolutely shocked. The idea of coupling Terrell Owens and Roy Williams should pay extreme dividends for the Cowboys. Williams is a physical beast and will compliment the Cowboys very nicely. This really looks like one of those deals, like when Randy Moss got traded to the Patriots, that makes you wonder how an NFL exec could approve this or why other teams wouldn't have stepped up to the plate if that's all they wanted. It's too bad Tony Romo will be out for the next month and won't be able to throw to them. What's that? He made a miraculous recovery?! How ironic.
