New Cowboys Stadium to Host 2010 NBA All-Star Game

You read that right. The NBA has awarded the 2010 All-Star Game to Dallas except the game won't be played in the Mavericks usual arena. Through a partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, the NBA will be hosting the game in the brand new, $1.1 billion stadium. I think it's awesome that the NBA has the guts to try something like this. First, they had an outdoor game, now this. My only concern will be the sight lines for some of the fans that are put in the upper decks of the stadium. A Kobe Bryant dunk will look like a little ant doing a dance. Perhaps they could borrow the staging equipment that the NCAA will be using now for all future Final Fours. It elevates the court and creates a flatter incline into the existing football stadium seats. Regardless, it will be very interesting to see how this works out.
