In case you missed SportsCenter, let me give you a rundown of how this game went. The Gators blocked kicks and scored touchdowns. Period. Final score? 63-5. Think they wanted to show all the voters that just like USC, they can run up a score too? This was probably the most complete game I've seen the Gators play in years. Offense, defense and special teams all made their cases for being the best squads in the country. And if you haven't seen him yet, go type "Jeff Demps" into YouTube. He is the fastest player in the country, hands down, and just continues to get better and better as the season goes on. Florida's defense has been playing incredibly well. Against Kentucky, they did not allow a first down until the last play of the 1st Quarter and against LSU, they did not allow one until the 7th play of the 2nd quarter. That's back-to-back games where their opponents spent the entire 1st Quarter with zero offensive productivity. Very impressive.
Next weekend, I'll be making the trek to Jacksonville for the World's Largest Cocktail Party!
