They are finally here! I really questioned releasing them this week because some of this is going to come across as rather controversial. Obviously teams like Missouri, Oklahoma, Florida and Southern Cal will finish the season ranked very high. The thing all those teams have in common though? They have lost games. These rankings are designed to show who the best teams are based on many factors including winning percentage and strength of schedule at the end of the season; therefore, some of the positioning will look kind of wacky such as Ohio State being ranked above a Southern Cal team that beat them. These rankings are very fluid and will change drastically from week to week. Just follow the evolution of the polls and you will see how it will work itself out. Enjoy!
