There are some really good games this weekend, many of which face the possibility of an upset. Who will be placed on Upset Alert this week? The choice may surprise you.
Brigham Young Cougars
The Cougars travel to Fort Worth to face a very tough Texas Christian team. They are so tough, in fact, that they have one of the best defenses in the country. This should prove very troublesome for the Cougars. The game is tonight at 8 PM on Versus, for those of you that get that channel. Can BYU QB Max Hall continue his Heisman campaign? The Horned Frogs will have a lot to say about it tonight. Last week, the Cougars were held to only 21 points by a mediocre New Mexico squad.
Upset Watch
The following teams may be surprised on Saturday.
Michigan State over Ohio State
Sure, it's not that big of an upset but the Buckeyes are ranked higher than the Spartans. Expect Michigan State RB Javon Ringer to get at least 35 carries in this game. The game is being played in East Lansing so the advantage should really be with the Spartans.
Navy over Pittsburgh
The Midshipmen have a great team this year and have had some big wins already this season. Pitt hasn't played a game since their upset of then #10 South Florida. This game should be a fun one to watch. The Panthers chances really lie in the hands of sophomore RB LeSean McCoy.
Missouri over Texas
This has been an incredibly wacky year so far and it only appears to get worse. It is pretty much a given that the Big 12 is going to beat up on each other and this seems like a potential game for that to happen. Can you really pick the Tigers to lose two games in a row? I find it very hard to pick against their explosive offense.
