While Milwaukee hasn't said exactly what this "offer" is, it is still noteworthy that they are at least going to try. It appears that CC Sabathia will be getting a king's ransom this offseason, one that the Brewers most likely would not be able to afford. The news of this offer, though, seems to show the opposite. I personally believe that Sabathia is one of the Top 5 pitchers in the game right now and the Brewers should do whatever they can to keep him.

Quick tangent: There actually have been baseball players that have donned the over-sized suits to race, including Mark Grace and Hideo Nomo. Former Packers WR Javon Walker has also ran in the race.
