2009 College Football Season Preview

With the NCAA Football season only 50 days away, we take a look at the major story lines and our preseason rankings. The obvious top story of this season is the defending champion Florida Gators and Tim Tebow. While they are the NCAA Football Odds-on favorite to repeat, anyone who follows sports knows it's much tougher when the bullseye is on your back all season. It will be interesting to see how this team reacts to being the consensus #1 team in the country. Other story lines we'll be following:

Lane Kiffin's Debut in Tennessee
The Return of the Big 12 QBs
The Bowden-Paterno Saga
The Mid-Major Majors (Utah, Brigham Young, Texas Christian)

Enough with the storylines, let's get on to the important part: the rankings. Like we mentioned before, by looking at most NCAA betting picks, we can see that oddsmakers have anointed Florida as the preseason king but who follows them? Here is our preseason Top 25.
